Andrew and Liza Sharp met on a mission trip to Venezuela and have been adventuring together ever since.

While our adventures have taken us to other continents, we are committed to finding adventure wherever we are and embracing it with open hands.  When part of the journey included Foster Care, we knew we needed to begin recording some of the lessons learned.  A bend in the road brought us to adoption, and when the terrain was tough, sharing on this blog brought support from around the world.

The Sharpteam is now three strong.  And we are learning to adventure in new ways together . . . and sharing the journey here with you.

  1. 70+ Pages! That is insane. I knew you two would be great at it. I mean worst case Rosemary chicken can solve wonders. Sharp is great with rosemary chicken.

  2. Liza and Andrew,
How lovely to hear that y’all are doing such a wonderful thing. How blessed these children are to get to come into a home (even if for a short while) with two wonderfully loving and godly people. You both are truly remarkable and my prayers are with you. God bless!

  3. Great idea for communication! Our prayers are with you!

  4. What a great blessing! Keep up the great work!

  5. Wow…what an amazing and unspeakably wonderful thing! I’m so glad you two decided to be willing to become part of these young lives! I love the idea that you are one of the influences that will bend the trajectory path of their life toward something better simply by exposure to you and who you are. I know without a doubt the world of each child is better because of your presence in it…however brief your time with them. I love that you are improving worlds like this…injecting them with a “booster shot” of your love…and Gods. I’ll be keeping you in my prayers!

  6. Sharp’s!

This blogg is one of the most insightful online expressions i have yet to come across, and I genuinely enjoy experiencing the range of human development through those you foster. For the benefit of the rest of us, do keep writing! (Also, i’m a sucker for clean/crisp web. presentation, and you win a prize in my book for this as well).

Blessings for both and all of you (however many that may be at this time),

    Liza and Andrew,

You are both angels! To be a foster parent is an act of love! How wonderfully big your hearts must be! I have seen the love between the two of you! Now to read your blogs on how you use this love to minister to others is so wonderful. I am so glad to have met you! You will forever be etched in my mind and my heart!
